If there’s a couple of guys you can always rely on to deliver intense, mesmerizing and breathtaking Techno, Nanoplex are the ones! After wowing us with their Noisily set just over a month ago, they’re back with an even bigger helping as we bring you three and a half hours out their 8 hour set at this years Ozora Festival in Hungary. Ill Phil is no stranger to making full blown Bass House bangers! His tunes have dance floors packed from the high octane energy he implants in his music. As well as keeping the new releases flowing at a fair rate, Ill Phil has been digging into his personnel collection of his own tunes and has decided to drop this VIP remix of a track he made with Lorenzo. As you might guess from the title of the track, Double 99’s ‘Rip Groove’ is the main player and it also incorporates a sample of Tina Moore’s ‘Never Gonna Let You Go’ for an added nostalgic twist. When you think of a production duo it’s usually a couple of friends, or sometimes brother/sister combinations, but never normally father and son. Well the latter is exactly what we have here with, A Double, and what a team they appear to make! Their work takes on classic House tracks and sees them give the originals a modern day Tech House sound and groove. The latest of their reworks is this one of ‘Get On Up’ by, James Brown, which has a real infectious energy about it and of course a sample of the great man himself. It’s definitely one to get on up and get on down to that’s for sure!

The Hungarian collective, MustBeat, must have been over the moon to have had this debut EP from Bristol (UK) based, Steppin’ Tones, land on their desk. We’re excited enough just to share it with you, so they must have been bouncing off the walls when they got fully stuck into the three tracks that are on offer.
