BKT & Mike City present the classic garage grooves of ‘Save Your Love’ on Major League Hustlaz.

‘Save Your Love’ is a gorgeous slice of Soulful House/US Garage with super smooth Nu Jack swing/R&B style vocals from Mike City. We’re talking Danny J Lewis, Grant Nelson or Frankie Knuckles level goodness here.

The original is loaded with deep funky synths and sax licks. Deepsoul’s Dub is pure late 90’s style UKG down to a tee. Mind Of A Dragon adds the bassweight and vibes with a nice 2 stepper of a remix. Mooney adds the icing to a simply superb package with their own 2 steppin’ take on the original. A all round essential release for House & Garage lovers.

Really liking this slice of melodic house from Miami-based producer Alyx Ander featuring vocals from Srey Davi.

As a classically-trained pianist, Alyx began his musical career early, leading theatrical productions at Manhattan’s prestigious LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. Now he’s dropping tunes that the likes of Pete Tong and Don Diablo are supporting.

Eddy Tm

Dropped A exclusive

first Play of Maxim's

New Single

Revolution

Maxim is back for his second outing on Death Drum

And this time he has bought YT & Audra Nishita along for the ride.

After the success of the his last release 'Respect' (getting premiered on Mixmag and gaining support from A-Listers like Rene LaVice, Aphrodite & Krafty Kuts) Maxim drops his new double sider thats just as high energy and floor stomping as the last.

This is Drum & Bass, but with a sound you would expect from the man like Maxim!

'Revolution' featuring YT brings those big room vibes with its devastating bass stabs and rolling beats, whilst 'Unstoppable', once again with YT & Audra Nishita is exactly that and rumbles with heavy rock vibes.

Yet another quality release from Death Drum Rebel & Maxim.

Pre-Order LTD Edition Vinyl Here

Kniteforce Records reveal their first new vinyl release in 18 years. Kniteforce 64 & 65 sees established and fresh new artists remixing classics from the label’s illustrious back cat.

Let’s start with Kniteforce 64 featuring remixes by Scott Brown, DJ Luna C (The boss of all things Kniteforce), and Ant To Be

1.DJ Luna C- Piano Progression (Scott Brown Remix)

Luna C ‘Piano Progression’ is a post 92′ breakbeat hardcore classic with lots and lots of rushy pianos. Scott Brown swaps the breakbeats for some 95′ style Bouncey Techno stabs and kickdrums that perfectly compliment those make your skin go all bumpy pianos!!!

2.DJ Ham-It Would Be Nice (Luna C Remix)

DJ Ham now known as Hamilton of RAM Records notoriety produced countless gems back in the breakbeat/happy hardcore era. Luna C takes us back to those magical times with spliced up breaks and huge spacey ravey riffage for the oldskool cru

3.Jimmy J & Cru L T- Ool Lortnoc (Ant To Be Remix)

Russian producer Ant To Be brings down the tempo of the original ‘Ool Lortnoc’ and adds in a load of 92′ style uplifting synths and rolling breaks

And now to Kniteforce 65

1.DJ Force & The Evolution- Fall Down On Me (Billy ‘Daniel’ Bunter & Sanxion Back To Labrynth 94 Remix)

Messrs Bunter & Sanxion need no introduction for their unrelenting efforts in the preservation and continuation of the oldskool hardcore sound. Their update on one of my favourite Kniteforce tracks is full of nice subtleties that will please oldskool lovers no end. Full of pristine production from start to finish, this is an oldskool masterclass

2.Future Primitive- Ban This (Nicky Allen Remix)

I’ve been following Nicky’s work since 2011, I have to say Mr Allen has done the absolute business here with a great fast paced cut up style remix full of busy and energetic sounds and great use of samples

3.The Trip- The ‘Erb (Scartat Remix)

A great way to finish up this fine package, a markedly different remix that sits somewhere between Jungle & Breakcore with slamming beats and fiery sounds, one to pump your fist to!!!

This is a vinyl only release never to be available digitally, you can stream clips below and pre-order the vinyl by clicking here

Today’s House & Techno Roundup features the likes of Nezzy Idy, Pointbender,  Lupe Fuentes, FGTN Toys, Platzdasch plus more….

How about some full on peak time stompin’ Techno from angle? Yes please!!

Or some spacey chilled fuzzy beats from Ned Izzy on ROAM? For those who like things intricate and intelligent but dance floor friendly none the less

Pointbender’s LP is a deep voyage of Dubby Techno & Electronica that is rich in musical tapestry. Harking back to those classic LPs of the golden era of dance music

Another classy release from Hardkiss that is out there on a deserving pedestal for uniqueness and good vibes all round

We eagerly await new tunes from Lupe, here’s a MASSIVE one hat’s currently doing the damage. Big layered drums, Toms and a twisting funky bassline

M1 remakes Mariah Carey’s ‘Emotions’ into a slammer of a House track and Jolyon Petch adds a touch of class with his slickly produced remix, very nice!!!

Taken from Karmic Power’s new compilation. FGTN Toys goes for a deep vibe a la Roger Sanchez with this deep synth driven vocal track

4 exquisite cuts of true Deep House music on the Gents & Dandy imprint. Platzdasch fuses a variety of styles and sounds to reflect two decades of house perfection

The Empresarios are made up of a 6 piece band and 2 DJ’s and as they hail from Washington DC, you just know that the sounds they create are gonna be the ones you need to have in your life. With several members in the group, each one manages to bring their own influences to add to the melting pot and create a sound that they themselves describe as ‘Tropicaliente’, which features elements of Downtempo, Dub, Latin, House, Trip-Hop and Reggaeton with a definitive eclectic edge.

The best way to find out what the Empresarios sound is all about is to of course check out some of their music and we can help you out with that, with this new mix from one of the DJ’s of the group, Sonny Cheeba. The mix has been put together to showcase the new tracks that will be featuring on their new album ‘The Vibes Remixed‘. 15 of Empresarios original tracks have been remixed by the likes of Bobby C Sound TV, Balkan RiddimsSenor Griff, and Ursula 1000, to name just a few, with the Latin based tunes being given many interesting new twists. As well as the mix containing many of the remixes, it also has a few other very cool tracks that Sonny himself personally digs.

We bring you the mix here as a World Premiere and it’s the only place you can get it for the next few days, so once you discover it, be sure to spread the word of all this amazing music on the mix, and the news that Empresarios new album will be out on Friday 18th November. Enjoy folks!

Norwegian Deep House maestro Terje Saether has a new release on the Bogota imprint which should not pass you by.

This EP features 3 stunning excursions into a melody rich plain somewhere between House & Techno. Remixes are supplied by fellow Norwegians Alex Jangle & MatztaM. Further remix action is provided by Rave Enka

Our favourite has to be Rave Enka’s remix of the excellent ‘Who’s Responsible For This’.
