There’s no getting the hump when there’s phat tunes around like this one from, Cheshire. ‘Funky Camel’ is the most recent track of his that he’s dishing out for free which is funky, soulful, jazzy, has drums that hit real hard and is driven along by a very dirty bassline! It’s just how we like it and just how many of you do too. Top draw, Bass Funk business!

We’ve not seen Call me Classic in these parts before, but after checking his music and finding playful and funky twists on some all time classic songs, we’re only to happy to open our doors and welcome him onto the ward. In hand he has this stunning rework of Walter Murphy‘s classic ‘A Fifth Of Beethoven’. It kicks off on a strictly classical note but soon decends into the grooviest Disco number! You can either sit and admire, or get up and get on down, the choice is yours. We’re getting on down and it feels goooood!

It’s to Serbia we look to find yet another new name that makes the kind of Funk heavy music we just love to share with you so much. Nati, is his name and as mentioned, Funk is his game. As well as making original tunes, he, like many other producers of the scene, just loves to put his spin on some stone cold classic tunes. His uptempo regroove of Betty Davis‘ ‘Anti Love Song’ is his most recent piece of work and has instantly got us hooked on his sound. We’re very sure we’ll being seeing Nati on the ward sometime very soon if the quality of this tune and his other ones is anything to go by.

Monoman’s ‘Have No Faith’ on Horizon Recordings gets the remix treatment from Karl Vincent and by Greencyde.

Karl Vincent turns the original into a tough Techno laced bass house banger as he is known for on top labels like Saucy.

Greencyde takes things down a melodic 2 step path for the more chilled of the two remixes.

Another genre-defiant first class release from Horizon Recordings
