Carusoff dazzles us with the sublime House/Garage beats of ‘The Way I Feel’ out on Hustler Trax

The original is a light bouncing oldskool groove with little hints of subtle distortion, a nod to the growing Lo-Fi sound. This is pure Paradise Garage material from start to finish with familiar vocal refrains like ‘Don’t Break It’ lending even more to the 90’s influence.

If you caught our 2 previous Bernhardt posts, you would have read that his identity was being kept under wraps. That is the case no longer though as we can announce now that it is the new alias of the bearded Techno warrior, Hostage. His new alias of course, comes with a new sound and is one that is geared more towards creating more heat for the dance floor for the partygoers to really feed off. Bernhardt is set to hit it hard in 2017 so keep your eyes open, as this modified Techno warrior may be heading to your neck of the woods for a serious party!

Being a fairly recent convert to Techno and because I’ve been liking what I’ve been hearing from the Bernhardt side of things, I had to send out an invite for our advent calendar and as you can see, the answer was a resounding, yes! ‘Oil’ is the track that’s been kindly sent our way and it’s got the LSM HQ literally rocking! It’s hard as nails yet totally hypnotic at the same time and will most definitely create a moment of euphoric pleasure when encountered on a dance floor. If your bells start jingling, there’s a very good chance someone nearby has got this one maxed out!

For advent day #19, we have one of LSM’s favourite Breakbeat producers, Grove, delivering us music and what a piece of music it is! ‘Jazzy Journey’ is a track that takes on a real liquid vibe due to it’s total smoothness and because of the class trumpet work from his good friend, Tom Levecchia. This duo is a match made in heaven and the cosmic slice of Breakbeat that has been created is set out to warm the hearts and minds of whoever encounters it. Joshwa joins Jump Digital for some serious Munky bizznizz!!!

The title track here is large with a capital L, hectic beats, deep bass and plenty of squelchy acid house riffs, oh and a monkey!!!

Joker keeps up the high-octane heat, another busy rhythm using the ‘I came to jack’ vocal along with eerie laughter and spooky Techno pads. This is the first we’ve heard from Joshwa and we believe they have a very bright future. Props to Jump Digital for showcasing this fiyah!!
