Casey Spillman, Harry Raynor, and Max Casebolt make production outfit Allatura. They debut on Disco Kicks with two impressive instaurations of the 4×4 House music variety. ‘No Concern’ chugs along a cogent path of stripped back drums and burrowing bass. ‘With You’ remoulds the US/UK Garage sound into something new and highly palatable to the ears. Darshan Jesrani takes House music back to its origins with just over 7min of lush string arrangements, spatial grooves and 80’s Electro inspired keys. ‘Mirror Test’ sounds like a heartfelt tribute to the pioneers of the sound. Between the subtle sounds and minimal design of this track is the sound of hope, positivity and rebirth. Listening to this track, we are reminded of simpler, happier times. ‘Replace Yourself’ moves further along the House music timeline to the early 90s and its transformative effects. A breezy disco/soul style drifts in and out of the uptempo beats akin to that period of time but sounding 110% in 2017. Much needed fresh air from Darshan Jesrani, breath it in deep!!!

Taking it way back to 2006 is this very special mix recorded LIVE by Annie Nightingale for her BBC Radio 1 Show at the Breakspoll awards from 2006. Krafty Kuts and Atomic Hooligan drop some Breakbeat bombs to the much hyped crowd in this classic set of back to back mixing from two of the greatest and well known artists from the Breaks scene.

Daylight Robbery Records are over the moon to have Branches and Justin Pak join them on their awesome label. Each of the guys have dropped some real heavyweight tunes of their own, so having them come together to work on their own tune ‘Breath’ would have only ever resulted in big things and the guys do not disappoint!
