Arteo is a firm favourite of ours and has been pretty busy of late. It wasn’t to long ago that he and his good friend Dubra released their phat, funky and bass heavy ‘Milk‘ EP on, Bombstrikes, and since then he’s dropped three tracks of his own. The most recent of these tracks is his take Galt Macdermot’s Soul sizzler ‘Hair‘. With the bass pepped up, the addition of new drums and the super soulful feel from the original, it’s a must have for the summer!

Get over to his Soundcloud page to check his other 2 new tracks and also check his EP with Dubra below.

Download Arteo’s fix here via The Artist Union.

New Vision Records continues to hunt high and low for the freshest new talent from all around the globe and their scouts will definitely be in for a bonus after tracking down the 8 producers who have supplied music for their first ‘Various Artists‘ album. The Cardiff based imprint usually focuses their attention on one artist when releasing EP’s and mixes, but as the net widens, more artists come to the fore and the decision was made to celebrate the work of many this time around.

On this new album are 5 producers from Cardiff who are, Incus,  Tunnel Vision, Lashout, Gate C and Owain Gwyn, with the other three being, Aspard, who is from London, BAIRON who is from Italy and Shan Nash who joins us all the way from Iran. Between them all they have served up a selection of highly sophisticated, super smooth, groove filled House tunes that will most definitely bring the feet to the floors at many outdoor parties this summer. I look forward to catching them at a party in the future and I’m sure you’re gonna feel the same way too. Quality assured music right here!

Prague based, Nottingham born, Chris Sadler, has already achieved quite a lot since stepping up behind the decks for the first time. His music journey led him to Prague and his ability to bring life to the dance floor has seen him take up residency for the last 18 years at Czech Republic’s longest running club night, Climax at, Roxy. There he has played alongside a huge number of high profile names in the world of House music, such as, Mark KnightJoris VoornHoxton WhoresProk & Fitch, Sonny Wharton and Justin Robertson, to name a few.

As well as the DJ side of things, Chris is also a very talented producer and has had some of his work signed to Eric Morillo’s, Subliminal Records imprint and labels such as, Warner, Whartone, Kontor, his own label, Climax Digital Recordings, plus many others. We’ve picked out a cracking tune of his to introduce you to his work and it’s one that comes with great deal of nostalgia attached to it. His unofficial remix of ‘Dooms Night‘ by, Azzido Da Bass & Timo Mass, gives you an indication of the kind of high energy levels you should expect from him in both his production work and when he’s behind the decks.

Chris has an extensive back-catalog of tracks and mixes, some of which can be found on Soundcloud and the rest on his website. A visit to both should definitely be on the cards!

When it comes to standing still, OKNF Collective are just not interested. They’re on a strict mission to keep pushing things forward and because of the quality of music that the collective keeps producing, volume 6 of their huge ‘We Are OKNF’ album series has this time come along quicker than even they expected.

The quality music that’s on show this time comes from Ocean Roulette, Tyler Clacey, Warung & Scotty Does Know, FromDropTillDawn, GiddiBangBang, Yung Stanza, ETXKO and Will OB. Some of the artists featured are ones we know and some we don’t, which is always the beauty of an OKNF album. Firstly you know there’s some badass bass on the way and then you uncover even more you didn’t even know about!

The music, well, that’s just as heavy as always and showcases the talents of those involved perfectly! Fierce bassy House music you cannot put down and the kind to have the movers and shakers of the dance floor making the absolute most of the filth that’s being sent their way. Get busy and make all these tracks yours and be prepared for more, because OKNF’s ‘Ibitha!’ compilation drops 17th July and it’s guaranteed to be another scorching selection of music!

Find all the tracks and download links here on Soundcloud.

Marvel Years is once again flexing his skills as a musician and producer with his breathtaking ‘The Arrival‘ EP. The 4 tracks that you’ll find on his EP are simply epic as he delivers a mind-blowing Glitch Funk backdrop to his insane guitar skills and the bass he’s built into them all, earth shattering is all that can be said. Marvel Years is on full on ‘whomp’ mode with this EP and if your speakers are weak, they may not survive what is about to go down. For those speakers that can hack it, let em have it!
