The Funk Fury has been firing out a number of top draw broken beat tunes recently and his regroove of King Floyd’s ‘I Feel Like Dynamite’ is one gritty, horn filled Ghetto Funk groover that I just had to share with you. Cockney Nutjob and The Kurnel MC have been pretty much festival hopping throughout the whole of this summer. They’ve entertained crowds all across the UK to the max and one of the tunes that has been going down a treat is this rework of D.R.S‘ Jungle classic ‘Everyman’ feat. Kenny Ken. Cockney Nutjob’s put a midtempo spin on the original and added in his familiar Reggae twist and The Kurnel MC, well he’s keeping things cool with his super smooth flow. To be honest i really don’t know much about the artist called Murix but that didn’t discourage me from listening to his mix for Spains’s Funktasty Crew. The Murix project started back in 2016 and his first venture into music production saw him release a track called Combination on the 83 Record label which reached 27 in the Beatport Breakbeat charts. Since then he has produced another 4 tracks distributed by the label 83 Records, Elektroshok Records and Distorsion Records.
