Prepare to be fully immersed into a world of dark trippy late night Jungle. Australian junglist producer par excellence Jungle Drone shares the first of a series of EPs for Boomsha Recordings and he starts with a Tiger’s roar of a  3 track release!!

‘Shuffle Crew’ appears in two versions, the original and alternative version both featuring a prominent jagged riff that floats over a sea of disturbed ambience, rolling beats and techstep esque subs.

‘Vanilla Plate’ sounds like David Lynch making Jungle/DnB with dreamy off kilter beach music style guitar riffs pitched against classic amen breakology.

‘Branch Point’ is the one for the Future Jungle crew and for those in the know will be instantly recognisable as the signature sound of Jungle Drone under his Mshcode alias.

Deep, dubby and trippy, there’s no sound quite like the sound of Jungle Drone and this is a great EP,go get it!!!

Since dropping in to the world of music production, Austin Welsh has caused huge waves from his sound that have reached far and wide. Labels like Toolroom Records, Simma Black, Love & Other and Daylight Robbery, to name just a few, felt those waves and couldn’t wait to get him on board to showcase his music.

Austin posses a House sound that has a rigid core, a soulful groove and basslines to shake the planet. All of those essential elements can be found in his crisp rework of Amira‘s classic Garage track from 1997 ‘My Desire’. It’s a track Austin has loved for many years and felt it’s time to give it wings once again and who are we to argue, the outcome is pure class. There’s more of this meatiness to be found on the links below too, extra bonus!

Skeleton Army returns with a classy two track EP of Tech House proving that quality trumps quantity every time.

The title track combines elements of the classic Warp Records early 90’s ‘Bleep N Bass’ Techno sound with the intricate drum programing and deep layered sounds that have been a solid base for some of the best deep and tech house productions over the last few years.

‘Baby Goose’ dances delicately between uplifting and mystical  with uplifting keys and a far eastern influence in the strings. It’s been a wait and worthwhile one. In a scene struggling for space among the clutter, house music wouldn’t be the same without Skeleton Army and would be at a loss without his outstanding productions.
