Starting his journey in a Tibetan temple, The Funk Fury has been on a continuous quest to spread positivity in all he does, especially his music. Whether it’s Funk, Disco or Glitch Hop, there’s always an upbeat and energetic feel in his work. As always, a sample of his sounds is always handy and that’s just what we have here with his free 4 track ‘Almanac’ EP.

On his EP you’ll find a varied selection of Breakbeat styles. ‘Miami Lips’ feat. Saxophonkus dishes out a real tropical flavour with plenty of sexy Sax. ‘Let The Music’ is by far the grooviest sucka on the EP. ‘Memories’ goes in Rock heavy with a real feel of epicness. The title track of the EP ‘Almanac’ rounds things of perfectly with it’s deliciously smooth vibe. With the array of sounds on offer, there’s definitely something for everyone here!

It’s been a while since we caught up with our funk soul brothers over at, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and because of that, we’ve got some excellent sounds right here for you to check out. First up is an insanely good free remix of Beenie Man‘s ‘Who Am I’ by, Leygo, which he sent over to the label so they could drop it to celebrate passing 2000 followers on Facebook. A present they would have undoubtedly been pleased with!

Next up is a double helping of music from BBP’s ‘Power Hour’ radio show. They have huge free Dub heavy Hip-Hop mashup from Bristol based, TITAN SOUND, that’ll ruffle a few feathers and in for a guestmix on the show is, Mr Bristow, who delivers an hours worth of must have tunes from the Funky Breaks world.

Last, but by no means least in this post is another mix that has been put together by, BadboE, to promote the labels outstanding album ‘Paradise Breaks Vol.IV’. On the album you’ll find 15 tracks of soulful and glitchy funky goodness and a touch of Drum n Bass from many recognizable names to the breakers who feast on the Funk. First second to the last, you’ll be blown away by what you’re about to hear.

Underground Rave Music legend Mike Ash revives his Interface alias for some Bleep N’ Bass style Warehouse Techno mayhem on Ozone Recordings.

‘Bleep Off!!’ takes us back to the glory days of the early rave scene. The Proto Breakbeat Hardcore sound known as ‘Bleep N’ Bass’ reverberated throughout the city of Sheffield and across the UK back in the early 90s. The energetic tracks on this brand new EP by Interface revisit the sounds made famous by the likes of Unique 3 and Nightmares On Wax and we can’t help feeling this genre was gone too soon!!!
