Dutch House producer. DIE GROTE, is one that has been hugely inspired by the groovy sounds of the 90’s. He’s well known for laid back House sound in his production work and is another dude who makes plenty of his own music, along with super classy edits like this one posted. It’s of the 1991 rave anthem ‘Can You Feel It’ by, CLS, and although it has a thoroughly modern Tech House vibe, the spirit of the original still lives strong. Hand raising music at it’s finest!

Deekline and Wizard cemented themselves in Breakbeat folklore. Known for their Booty Breaks from back in the day they were a force to be reckoned with releasing a full album called “Breaks, Beats and Blondes” on Botchit & Scarper Records in 2004. Another one in 2009 and 2 mix compilations. Unfortunately they both parted ways but Deekline has kept producing music and travelling the world DJing till this day.

Ill Phil is no stranger to making full blown Bass House bangers! His tunes have dance floors packed from the high octane energy he implants in his music. As well as keeping the new releases flowing at a fair rate, Ill Phil has been digging into his personnel collection of his own tunes and has decided to drop this VIP remix of a track he made with Lorenzo. As you might guess from the title of the track, Double 99’s ‘Rip Groove’ is the main player and it also incorporates a sample of Tina Moore’s ‘Never Gonna Let You Go’ for an added nostalgic twist. Get your best moves ready because this one’s for dancing too!

When you think of a production duo it’s usually a couple of friends, or sometimes brother/sister combinations, but never normally father and son. Well the latter is exactly what we have here with, A Double, and what a team they appear to make! Their work takes on classic House tracks and sees them give the originals a modern day Tech House sound and groove. The latest of their reworks is this one of ‘Get On Up’ by, James Brown, which has a real infectious energy about it and of course a sample of the great man himself. It’s definitely one to get on up and get on down to that’s for sure!

Once you’ve sampled the delights of this tune, hit the Soundcloud link below to find a handful of other class reworks. I’m very sure we’ll be seeing these guys on the ward again!
