Thats right, its Thursday.. which means you are completely guilt free if you reach for the booze, slap on some tunes and evidently wake up naked in a roundabout covered in glitter and feathers..as long as the last thing you remember is listening to this mixtape. And  you are not late for work tomorrow!

This week’s mix comes from a multi-tasking mofo from Brighton. Why multi tasking you ask? It’s not uncommon to find Skitzo behind the decks spinning the wheels of steel while rapping over the top into the mic.. Fair dues! Much more impressive than my “drinking and mixing” combination.

This jam has plenty of Dan’s own blends mixed in and I have to say it’s a beauty! Just don’t come crying to me if you are late to work tomorrow.. or can’t get the glitter or roundabout foliage off your back.

There is absolutely no shadow of a doubt that some of the finest DnB of 2013 has come out of the studio of Callide & Intraspekt, continuing in the incredibly high standards of their 2 most recent EPs on Crissy Cris’ imprint, The Zoooo Records, this ones a banger!!!

‘Heart of the Machine’ is as epic as the title suggests with a massive bleepy intro that leads into some tearout amens and melodic bass, ‘Crowd Control’ is the tougher of the 2 with big growling bass and Hip Hop vox and has a old skool vibe to it, a uplifting melody gradually builds into the drop before the bass mayhem returns to finish us off!!!

We’ll say it again because it needs to be said, Callide & Intraspekt are right on top of their game right now and definitely 2 of the best producers out there, they have a sound that gets you hooked instantly and this EP is a great way to end 2013, we expect even bigger things from them in 2014…
