Straight outta Franklin, Groovefunkel likes to re-engineer classic tracks, while always trying to be true to the original. A multitrack collector and  70′s and 80′s enthusiast he takes the heart of Elton’s 1972 hit and make it groove-a-licious. Pushing up the tempo to some dancefloor disco, he gives one of Gloria Gaynor’s greatest hits the reboot. Simply, BIG, feel good, music!

This is a brave and brilliantly produce revamp of Teardrop – love the new groove and the sub wobbles on this edit. Perfectly executed. As the tune progresses the beats just rise in intensity and the groove gets even more driving. Really cleverly put together. The it pretty much just stops making you want more… A great tune to get a crowds attention.

It’s party mashup time c/o Jimi Needles. Funk boots and breaks aside, this tune gets to the balls of the matter – there isnt a crowd who wouldnt get off it listening to this making it an essential weapon for those tricky to please corners of the room.

Blast from the past with this free download from DJ Love. This takes me back to playing Cool Boarders 2 on the PS1 – this must have been in the tracklist or certainly cut from the same liquid d’n'b cloth. Bloody love these kinda grooves.
