The evening will be curated by a few old timers. KRISCO might play some jungle and drum n bass, or he could play the 4/4 rhythms. Who knows.

Two Winnipeg djs who regularly pay tribute to the underground at Back2House, will grace the decks. The one, the only DAVE RAD who runs the aforementioned club night will give us a special set. As will ALEXANDER KRYGSVELD, who is somewhat of a resident at Back2House.

I’m having a difficult time figuring out what I’m going to play. The general theme will be deep in sonics and may go something like this…

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is happy to announce one of our promising up and coming Breakbeat/Nu-Funk producers ‘Conte Crux’ is back with another instalment of funky/old skool beats. This time with his very own E.P.
Hailing from the South West of England Crux’s style incorporates hip-hop, funk and old skool breaks at a slightly higher nu-funk/Breakbeat tempo, and not always together.

Conte Crux has been a DJ for 14 years and has moved through various genres. As music has changed directions, so has he. With a love for breaks and scratching he has warmed up for and played alongside the likes of The Scratch Perverts, Krafty Kuts, Benji Boko, Plump DJs, and many others throughout the years. Although he is fairly new to this side of the scene it seems there are promising funky times ahead.
