Bezwun Feat. Johniepee – Ready for War
Australian producer, Bezwun, has been keeping things on the down-low for quite a while and it seems like an absolute age since I’ve had the pleasure to share his music with you all. That’s about to end right now though as out of no where he’s gone and dropped this Ghetto Funk blaster ‘Ready For War‘ featuring fellow countryman, Johniepee, who provides the fire with his vocal while Bezwun brings an old school 110bpm flavour to his mighty tune. Fingers crossed that there’s more like this to come from Bezwun because we’ve missed his extra fat sound lots!
Download ‘Ready For War’ here via Hypeddit.

Together Boston – Together Compilation 2017
Together Boston is a week long event that’s held in Boston (USA) and is made up of three major ingredients, music, art and technology. Across the week, attendees can find lots of things to see and do including art exhibits and installations, Q&A’s with visiting artists, discussion panels, technology demonstrations, a record fair and even a synth petting zoo during the day. When night falls, it’s all about showcasing the finest talent Boston has to offer, as well as welcoming in national and international artists to DJ at numerous parties. As I type, it is the penultimate day of this years event and a scroll through their Facebook page shows that things are going off quite nicely indeed.
To coincide with this years event, Together Boston have released a free 18 track album ‘Together Compilation 2017‘ to help those who can’t attend get a feel for the types of music that will be spun at all the parties. On the album are Boston based producers only and the sounds they’re bringing to the table clearly shows that this particular corner of a America is a very musically fertile one as the album features a melting pot of sounds and styles. Heart melting downtempo, larger than life Disco, fierce Bass House and sublime D n B are just some of the sounds you’ll encounter with plenty more to be found asides. It’s a quality album from what looks to be a very dedicated team that are doing their very best to show the world just what they’ve got and hats off to em!

Freestylers – Kiss 100FM Breakbeat Show – 6.3.2004
The original members of the Freestylers are Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey who started off their musical careers in the mid 1990’s. They released their first two albums ‘We Rock Hard’ and ‘Pressure Point’ on the legendary Breakbeat label Freskanova. The third and forth albums ‘Raw as F**k’ and ‘Adventures in Freestyle’ were released on ‘Against The Grain’ another Breaks power house based label. Their last album from 2013 ‘The Coming Storm’ was released through Black Hole Recordings.
The Freestylers began their career as an Urban Electronic Music Act, and their early tunes ‘B-Boy Stance,’ ‘Ruffneck’ and ‘Warning’ set the marker. As their music progressed so did their anthems with the seminal tunes ‘Punks’, ‘Boom Blast’, ‘Fasten Your Seat-Belts,’ ‘Painkiller’ and more recently ‘Cracks.’ In addition to their status as underground heroes, they have gained commercial success with their huge global hit ‘Push Up’ and have had their music featured in TV and film, including the hugely successful comedy film Zoolander.
