Lanx and Nick Slater, aka the Drumattic Twins, have been a leading force in dance music since they first began touring over 20 years ago. Making their name as Shades of Rhythm, they ruled the early nineties rave scene with legendary anthems ‘Sweet Sensation’, ‘Sound of Eden’, ‘Extacy’ and ‘Homicide’ and performed with the likes of The Prodigy and N-Joi.

Since rebranding themselves as the Drumattic Twins in 1997, Nick and Lanx quickly replicated this global notoriety thanks to the massive hit tracks ‘Feelin Kinda Strange’ ‘Twister’ and ‘HyperSpeed’. They teamed up with the legendary release platform Finger Lickin Records in 1999 and settled quickly into the close-knit world of the breakbeat scene, working alongside global acts such as Plump DJs, Soul of Man and Lee Coombs.

From a string of releases from 1999 starting with top the selling “Feeling Kinda Strange” till late 2013 with their “Get Up and Dance EP” on Sugarbeat Records and 2 full length albums in between the Drumattic Twins have laid down a variety of music that have influenced the Breaks Scene and shaped it in to what it is today.

This LIVE mix was recorded at the Winter Break Festival by Triple J Radio Australia back in 2004.

Thomas Vent hails all the way from Poland, this musical genius bases his music around the Glitch Hop genre and as he puts it “A Glitch Hop music producer and guy who really likes to merge blues and electronic music“. With tracks topping in the Beatport 100 Thomas Vent had the recent pleasure of playing a LIVE set at Club 120, Toronto, Canada at Funk The System along with local top talent. This mix is the end result.

This has to be one of the most anticipated mixes of the year and to me one of the highlights in DJ mixes. Stickybuds is back again with his mix from the Shambhala Festival 2018, a power house mix of good music in all its forms. This is the 14th year for the Shambhala veteran and while styles of music have changed over the years this is one of his best sets yet.

Detach is a DJ/Producer from Khabarovsk, Russia. Starting off as a breakdancer at the age of 14 under the name of Bboy Vanish. In 2005 he leaped into the world of DJing, found his love for everything Breaks and hasn’t looked back since.
