Not long now to the annual Breakspoll … in the mean time here is something to whet your appetite! Almost ten years ago back in 2005 (when it was still at Fabric) we were treated to the phenomenal face-off that was Plump DJs vs Stanton Warriors.   Battle of the Goliaths, this is an epic thow down of the biggest, heaviest tunes being dropped in one of the best soundsystems in the world with a crowd that are simply up for it. PYRAMID are the duo Nicky D’Silva and Scott Maclean, long acquainted studio partners and good mates the pair are seasoned live performers. Their sound has evolved into a melting pot of beats and basslines set at around 140bpm. Be it breaks, dubstep or anything in between but originally grounded in breakbeat. Rising to fame from signing and releasing various tracks on the Funkatech label the duo have toured the world and have had production work commissioned for Polydor signing Roxxxan, Mercury’s Dot Rotten alongside TMS, Sony’s latest sensation Jagga, Tiesto’s Black Hole imprint and dubstep giants Dub Police.

This LIVE set was recorded back in 2011 at the Breakspoll awards held at Cable nightclub, with a set of 140bpm rinsing rhythms and basslines at the time, a sure crowd pleaser.
