After holding down a residency in one of his local clubs at a night called ‘ Exit Exeter ‘, Takao has gone and done just that. He’s now located himself in, Nantes, where he has created this gorgeous 3 track EP called ‘ Souvenirs. The first 2 tracks ‘ Souvenirs ‘ and ‘ Humis ‘ are incredibly atmospheric, melodic and deep. Real soul stirrers! A slight but very welcomed twist with the 3rd track ‘ Shame For You ‘ as we’re taken into the realms of Acid House. A steady start soon builds into some pumping bass whilst still keeping that deep edge that runs throughout the EP. What a bloody lovely collection of music!

London’s, Cloaka, is another producer to celebrate a followers landmark, this time cracking the 3,000 mark on his Soundcloud page and as I’m sure you’re very aware now, that means freebie time! And what a tune to have in your collection, one of the biggest Jungle classics ever, Omni Trio ‘ Renegade Snares ‘. It’s been reigned in a little bpm wise but it’s still more than dance friendly and all of the darkness has been kept. Now sounding chunkier than the original the instantly recognisable vocal and piano still remain so as to evoke the memories of the good old days for the true old skoolers out there. Superb work!
