Today were sharing this belter of a track alongside Neon Steve featuring Lafa Taylor titled Heavy Metal Shit. “This Collab with Neon Steve came out super naturally. One of the final tunes made for the album, Im not sure how to categorize this as other than just pure party music. This has been a staple in my sets as of late and always gets a reaction from the crowd. The vocalist is Lafa Taylor who is someone ive wanted to work with for a while now.  I consider this tune as the follow up to “Sleeveless Jump off” tune i made with Wick-It the Instigator from my previous “R.YF.SO” Album. I was gonna name it Sleeveless Jump off part 2 but “Heavy Metal Shit” just felt right.”

Back at the start of August, Lisa Lashes, launched her new night ‘ Basement Boutique ‘ in Brighton. The night was created after Lisa’s mixing sessions in her own basement after a night of dj’ing. Inspired by the intimate basement feel and some deep, pumping Techno ‘ Basement Boutique ‘ was born and building upon that it’s also the name of Lisa’s new label.

After the success of the launch party in Brighton, Lisa is now taking her night on the road to more intimate venues around the UK, showcasing local talent as well as a set from herself of course. The next one is in Portsmouth at The Old Barn on September 12th and the one after that is in Birmingham at Cellar Door Rainbow Venues on October 2nd. Lisa has also added a pretty neat twist to the nights too as it’s a ‘ pay what you want ‘ deal. Follow the links below for all the details..
