New on Census Sound Recordings please welcome Tom Clyde, one of the most promising breaks and tech-funk producers to come out of Russia. Tom first started experimenting with electronic music in 2005 and honed his skills to be featured on such labels as   LOT49, VIM Breaks and Diablo Loco not to mention gaining support from the likes of Meat Katie, Dylan Rhymes, Hedflux, Broken Eye, Bad Tango, and Peter Paul.

His debut on Census sees a dope two track tech-funk delight which is already doing serious damage to the Beatport break’s chart: ‘Neutrino’ delivers a slab of tough, upfront techno with a catchy, rumbling bassline, whilst ‘Slow Down’ nails it on a deep on the progressive acid-tech breaks tip.

Molotov Cocktail is a Russian Breakbeat Show on Criminal Tribe Radio. Each week a special guest hits the airwaves with breakbeat, big beat, breaks, industrial, electronic rock mixes. Here we go again with a bombardment of Bass and Breaks, courtesy of, Punks Music. In this post we bring you music from, Plump Dj’s, UFO Project, Left/Right and Leda Stray.

First up is the most recent ‘Punkscast‘ from, Plump Dj’s. A few of you might recognize this mix as we posted it a few days ago but after a minor meltdown on the blog it got deleted along with a stack of other tracks. For those that didn’t catch it first time around, bonus! It was recorded at the last ever, Lowdown, in Manchester and contains a serious amount of quality music both new and a host of remastered classics from the guys. Proper stuff!

Also up for grabs is two free tracks from, UFO Project, with a hard as nails 808 edit of ‘You Got Me Burning’ by, DubRocca, giving off some stunning early 90’s vibes. The second free track comes from, Left/Right and his breathtaker of a remix of ‘Gosh’ by, Jamie XX. ‘Oh my gosh’ will the words ringing loudest in your mind, not only because those words feature in the track but also because of the epic feel of the remix. Two absolute must have’s!

Finishing off this, Punks roundup is a new two track EP from a new signing to the label, Leda Stray. Hype is growing fast for this London based producer with intense interest coming from, 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Capital Xtra and Rinse FM. Once listened, the two new tracks will show clearly what all the fuss is about. ‘The Oracle’ offers some frisky 2Step action while ‘The Vision’ has a much darker, broken beat vibe. Leda Stray definitely looks like one to keep an eye on in the future!
