After posting, Vol.3 of the Australian label, That’s Not An Edit‘s ongoing album series over 6 months ago, we’ve been waiting with great anticipation for, Vol.4 to drop and we’re very pleased to report, it’s here! As with the last three albums, That’s Not An Edit, have this time, a twelve tracker stacked top to bottom with not only some of the coolest cats in Australia, but also the mega music they make. Funk, Soul and Disco, they’ve got it all covered here and what another amazing job they’ve done putting this one together. No point hanging around, go get it!

You’re always guaranteed more bounce by the ounce from, Father Funk and this remix, his first release of 2016 hits the spot when it comes to wanting to take part in a little gravity defiance. The remix is of ‘Life’ a track off, Opiuo‘s cracking album ‘Meracki‘. It was due to be entered in a remix competition, Westwood Recordings was running, but at the time some personnel stuff kicked off and it never got finished in time. After a listen though, it will become quite apparent that had it been entered, it would have been challenging for top spot for sure! Ghetto Funk, Father Funk style, top marks from our end!

Here to make the air bristle with energy is, Loshmi, with this damn fine Disco reboot of ‘That’s The Way (I Like It)’ by, KC and the Sunshine Band. The good times are in full flow and it’ll have you in funky strut mode quick time! Just the way we like it, uh-huh uh-huh!

Loshmi, is one of two main alter egos of Serbian producer, Milos Djordjevic, the other being, Tonbe. Not only does, Milos, create funky Disco and House music under these guises he also runs a couple of incredible labels, Fruity Flavor and Disco Fruit Records, where all of his work under both production names can be found. A visit to these labels comes highly recommended!
