Mark Radford, is one of London’s hottest properties in the world of dance music. His label, Audio Rehab, is one of the most respected in the capital because of Mark’s passion to track down the freshest talent and nurture them along the way to greater things. Although a label owner, Mark considers himself a DJ and producer first and foremost and is very well known to be found pushing the boundaries. For Mark, it’s all about evolution, not revolution.

The track we have from, Mark, is a fine example of his production work. ‘Ocean’, in it’s infancy, is like a calm sea with the golden glow of the sun rising on the horizon, as the serene and angelic vocal follows an intro of solid 4/4 beats. On the horizon looms a storm though, in the shape of a rugged bassline, that comes along to shake things up and get things lively. The track has all the hallmarks of, Mark’s time spent on dance floors in the days of Acid House and Rave. The ‘euphoric’ sound in music from those days shines very bright in this one!
