As far as chance comings together go, this is not a bad at all. Adam Hignell aka, Ewan Hoozami, had originally only approached Phil Nixon aka, Dopedemand, to commission some artwork for a new project. Next thing they knew, the seeds had been sown for a new 6 track EP and in what seemed like no time at all, those very seeds grew and blossomed superbly.

With Dopedemand’s extensive experience in composing and producing, the easy going beats and vibe he’s created is right out of the top draw. The tracks ‘Hold It Like That’ and ‘Tuff’ are two massively blissful and balearic tracks that’ll have you dreaming of good times for ages! The other 4 tracks off the EP are where Ewan steps in and flexes his vocal skills, both in singing and rapping and giving a distinctly British feel to the sound. As mentioned above, the vibe of the whole is a totally relaxed one, so if an easy one with friends is planned this weekend, these are the beats for your meets.

As if excitement that summer brings wasn’t already enough, Dub Pistols have gone dropped a mix that’s only gonna add fuel to the fire in the bellies of the ravers out there who are all set to dance until the morning light. They’ve headed down a D n B / Jungle route for this particular mix and it goes without saying that there’s a huge Reggae influence. The mix itself goes off like hitting a missile with a hammer but thankfully, the only mess you’ll be left in here is a sweaty one!
