‘Bleep Off!!’ takes us back to the glory days of the early rave scene. The Proto Breakbeat Hardcore sound known as ‘Bleep N’ Bass’ reverberated throughout the city of Sheffield and across the UK back in the early 90s. The energetic tracks on this brand new EP by Interface revisit the sounds made famous by the likes of Unique 3 and Nightmares On Wax and we can’t help feeling this genre was gone too soon!!!

Their mashups always come with a Reggae flavour which is applied from their experiences of Jamaican sound-systems and can be very neatly found in their latest piece of work. ‘The Champ Ion Sound’ sees them masterfully blend together The Mohawks‘ ‘The Champ’, with Fatboy Slim‘s ‘Champion Sound’ and the result, a jaw dropping slab of punchy midtempo funkiness and if that’s what you’re into, this needs to be yours!
